Carbohydrates: combines two high-glycemic index sources, Dextrose and Maltodextrin, in a 1:1 ratio, ideal for optimizing energy recovery (glycogen replenishment) after physical activity (Mata, F. et al., Revista Euroamericana de Ciencias del Deporte. 2018).
Protein: features our exclusive micronized pea protein. Although plant-based, its micronization allows fast absorption (Overduin, J. et al., F&NR. 2015). Fortified with essential amino acids, it supports post-training muscle recovery, especially when combined with dextrose and maltodextrin (Zawadzki, KM. et al., JAP. 1992). Protein addition aids in muscle repair and recovery (Saunders, MJ. et al., JSCR. 2007).
L-Leucine: added to reach the “Leucine threshold,” key to triggering post-training protein synthesis via mTOR (Phillips, SM. et al., Nutrition & Metabolism. 2016), working alongside other essential amino acids.
Essential amino acids: fortified with L-Threonine, L-Lysine, L-Isoleucine, and L-Methionine to complement pea protein’s profile and overcome limiting amino acids. This creates a high Biological Value amino acid profile, similar to common animal sources like whey.
L-Glutamine: a non-essential amino acid that supports immune function by fueling macrophages and lymphocytes (Calder, P.C. et al., AA. 1999). Pea protein amino acids also regulate immune cell activity (Bumrungpert, A. et al., JMF. 2018).
Vitamins: added to meet at least 15% of NRV to support all recovery processes.
